A Bit About the d’Vincians
We are artists, programmers, graphic and information designers, videographers, and instructors. We are creative and humorous; sarcastic and satirical; melodramatic and theatrical; hip and old-fashioned. We are seldom boring. We all totally enjoy what we do. Usually.
Members of the d’Vinci team possess an array of skills that enable our small, tight-knit group to produce a broad spectrum of work, from small-scale consulting to large-scale projects involving thousands of man-hours. Each of us has an area of specialty, but we also have at least a working knowledge of the many design and development tools we use. In addition, most of us are great communicators and enjoy working directly with you on your projects.
Below is a brief summary of our team and the experiences and unique skills each one of us brings to the mix.
Vince Hellane
Vince has been developing interactive multimedia and eLearning programs for Macintosh and Windows since 1993 and directing development since 1996. He is the driving force behind d’Vinci Interactive—sometimes pushing it from behind and sometimes running to get out of its way. With a background in training video production, Vince serves as project and general business manager. He has a BA from the University of Maryland.
Sally Ann Reidy
Sally serves as senior project manager and is the chief information architect on large projects. With a background in database programming, uses her web and multimedia development skills to help push d’Vinci to new heights. She is proficient with CSS and HTML, as well as Captivate. She has a BS in business administration from the University of Nebraska and has been with d’Vinci since 1998.
Chris Grahl
Chris’s artistic skills bring many of our websites to life. As digital artist, designer and programmer, he has been creating interactive projects since 1997. Chris has the unique ability to take content, wrap a creative and visually rich environment around it, and serve up an interactive piece that both delights and illustrates. He has a BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio.
Mason Scuderi
Mason is our senior Flash developer and instructor, graphic artist, designer, and website developer. He has been designing and developing multimedia projects with d’Vinci Interactive since 1998. Mason is our Flash guru and is an Adobe Certified Instructor who teaches our advanced Flash classes. He creates Flash applications that communicate with XML, ColdFusion, and PHP/MySQL back-ends. He graduated with a BA in graphic design from Shepherd College.
Eric McDonald
JavaScripting and CSS wizard, PHP and AJAX programmer, graphic designer—Eric has a keen sense of design and excellent programming skills. He has been designing and developing multimedia projects since 1999. Eric is an Adobe Certified Instructor and Flash designer who teaches our Flash design courses. Eric is a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a degree in graphic design.
Vijay–Kumar Solanki
Adobe certified, Vijay is our RoboHelp, Dreamweaver, and Captivate developer and instructor and has been with us since 2004. Several d’Vincians have extensive audio-visual experience, but Vijay is our specialist in this area. He attended Shepherd College, studying music composition and music education.
David Schooley
Our senior web programmer, David programs in PHP/MySQL and ColdFusion. He is familiar with web server technologies and has experience with SQL, Oracle, CGI, PERL, and more. He is also proficient in Dreamweaver, Flash, Captivate, and assorted graphic design tools. He is a graduate of the York Technical Institute and joined our team in 2005.
Sali Gelestino
Sali has been with us since 2004. She does web design and development. She is proficient with Dreamweaver, Captivate, and Flash.
Nicole Duffey
Nicole joined the d’Vinci team in 2010; she came to us with a background in application development-project management and consulting. Nicole’s primary focus is project management, but she also spends her time tending to operational needs, formalizing processes, working with clients, and assisting in quality assurance efforts. Nicole has a BS in business administration, from Shippensburg University.
Brandon Phillips
Brandon has a passion for Flash and the technologies that d’Vinci uses to create dynamic web applications. Proficient in Actionscript 2 and 3, PHP, HTML, and CSS; Brandon plays an essential role on projects that require integration of many web technologies. He delivers media rich digital content using Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver, Sound Booth, Premiere, and AfterEffects. Since joining us in 2009, Brandon has played an integral role in developing activities for the WebRangers website, custom Content Management Systems and many other key projects. Brandon is a graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in New Media Art.
