d'Vinci and Penn State College of Medicine Launch Upgraded iLookOut for Child Abuse Training Course and LMS

d'Vinci Interactive announces the launch of an upgraded training course for mandated reporters of child abuse in Pennsylvania, developed with Penn State College of Medicine. The upgraded course, iLookOut for Child Abuse, and advanced microlearning exercises are available at iLookOutPa.org, and are powered by d’Vinci’s ecoLearn® LMS. The training is free for Pennsylvanians participating in an NIH-funded research study conducted by Penn State.

The upgraded course meets all Pennsylvania mandated reporter training requirements and features a video-based storyline with real-life scenarios. As part of the research, the training includes gamified micro-learning exercises delivered over time.

"The aim of the research study is to determine how best to reinforce mandated reporters’ knowledge," said Dr. Benjamin Levi, founder of iLookOut. "Mandated reporters completing the Core training will be randomized to receive microlearning exercises either immediately or after several months. The data collected will provide valuable insights into the training's effectiveness and help improve the course content and delivery methods."

Participants will contribute to the safety and well-being of children across Pennsylvania by completing the training. Early childhood educators completing both the Core and Advanced trainings will receive a stipend and six hours of Continuing Education credit.
