d'Vinci Wins Award for Excavator Education Training for Common Ground Alliance

d'Vinci Interactive, a leading custom eLearning and training solutions provider, has been honored with a Silver Davey Award for the eLearning course, How to Safely Hand Dig, developed for the Common Ground Alliance (CGA). CGA is a national non-profit organization dedicated to protecting underground utility infrastructure, people who excavate around these important assets and the communities that rely on it. 

The award, which was given in the General Training category, recognizes d'Vinci's outstanding work in creating a microlearning-based damage prevention course aimed at excavation professionals nationwide.

How to Safely Hand Dig was developed in Articulate Storyline and features a motion graphics video that walks learners through the five steps to safely hand dig. It is one of more than 45 microlearning modules that make up CGA’s complete excavator education damage prevention curriculum. d'Vinci worked closely with CGA and a panel of subject matter experts to craft a comprehensive learning strategy that would serve as the foundation for the entire curriculum. 

Using Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise, d'Vinci created modules that engage learners through interactive simulations, custom motion graphics, live-action interviews, and Vyond video scenarios. The curriculum also includes professional voiceover narration, and every module is available in both English and Spanish with closed captioning for maximum accessibility.
