Workplace Safety & Compliance Training

Workplace Safety & Compliance Training

d’Vinci partnered with Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. (Penske) to provide end-to-end custom eLearning and live-action video production services to deliver workplace safety and compliance training.

Warehouse Safety eLearning for Supervisors

d’Vinci developed a suite of custom eLearning modules for Penske’s Dedicated Contract Carriage (DCC) and Distribution Center Management (DCM) Operations Supervisors that focus on functional training for on-the-job success.

Articulate Rise and Vyond

Learners participate in multiple modules created in Articulate 360 Rise with illustrated interactions and custom graphics. One experience, Walk the Warehouse, features a custom interactive storyline course with Vyond video animation.

Scenario-Based Interactivity

Learners experience a day in the life of a DCM Operations Supervisor as they manage a safety infraction, provide effective feedback, get to know associates, and capture a great idea. Using interactive feedback, the module provides the opportunity to practice how to approach these different situations and the best way to handle them.

Conflict and Threat Mitigation Training Videos

d’Vinci developed a 10-minute video, Working Together to Stop Workplace Violence, that provides Penske associates with the knowledge and skills needed to identify and prevent workplace violence. The video was aimed at warehouse workers and truck drivers in the DCM, DCC, and FM divisions of Penske.

Authentic Live-Action Videos Emphasize Message

The training videos feature an on-screen host, two live-action videos, and a direct address from Aaron Henderson, Penske’s VP of Safety and Loss Prevention. The live action videos make safety issues come to life in dramatizations that highlight disputes over resources, an altercation on the loading docks, and in both cases, the importance of reporting the threat to a supervisor and the next steps to properly handle the matter.
